////// 01 — AERIAL MAPPING

Aerial data capture and mapping

Every geospatial project starts with good data. We survey sites to centimetre-level accuracy using drone photogrammetry and RTK/PPK positioning, and deliver processing-ready orthomosaics, maps, elevation models and point clouds.

What’s included

  • Drone photogrammetry
  • Drone mapping
  • RTK / PPK surveying
  • Orthomosaics
  • Topographic mapping
  • Existing conditions surveys
  • DSM / DTM / DEM
  • Contours
  • 3D point clouds
  • Volumetrics and stockpiles
  • Cross-sections and profiles
  • High-accuracy land surveys

Why use drones

Drones cover large sites far faster than a ground crew, with consistent accuracy and a full visual record. A single flight produces an orthomosaic, an elevation model and a point cloud — one dataset, many deliverables.

How we achieve accuracy

Ground sampling distance (GSD) is driven by flight altitude and the camera; absolute accuracy by ground control points and RTK/PPK. Horizontal and vertical errors are reported against independent checkpoints.

A foundation for everything downstream

The same data feeds 3D modelling, GIS analysis, AI object detection and change monitoring, so new questions rarely mean another site visit.

FAQs

How accurate is drone mapping?

With ground control and RTK/PPK, we target centimetre-level accuracy. The achieved figures are stated in the accuracy report, measured against checkpoints.

What’s the difference between a DSM, a DTM and a DEM?

A DSM captures the top surface, including buildings and vegetation; a DTM represents bare earth only. DEM is the umbrella term and is often used interchangeably with DTM.

How large a site can you survey?

Anything from a small plot to sites of several hundred hectares. Larger sites are split into blocks and flown over multiple days.
