Inspection, asset management and technical analysis
Drones aren’t just for mapping. We inspect hard-to-reach, high-risk structures up close without scaffolding or cranes, report every finding with coordinates, and keep your asset register up to date.
What’s included
- Solar PV inspection
- Wind turbine inspection
- Power line inspection
- Roof inspection
- Building inspection
- Bridge / viaduct inspection
- Infrastructure inspection
- Thermal inspection
- Damage assessment
- Visual structural inspection
- Asset inventory
- Asset monitoring
- Periodic condition monitoring
- Before / after comparison
Safer, faster inspections
Tall structures, roofs and energy assets are inspected without putting people at height. High-resolution stills, video and thermal imagery document every finding with its exact location.
From finding to asset register
Each defect is logged with coordinates, photos and a severity rating, then added to the asset register — so maintenance crews go straight to the right spot.
Periodic monitoring
The same points are re-inspected at set intervals. Before/after comparisons show whether a defect is getting worse and whether maintenance worked.
Deliverables from this service
Progress monitoring
A dated record of surface change and construction progress, built by comparing surveys flown on different dates.
GeoTIFF, SHP, PDF3D terrain model
A 3D model of the ground and everything on it — surface model (DSM), bare-earth model (DTM), classified point cloud and textured mesh.
GeoTIFF (DSM/DTM), LAS/LAZ, OBJ, 3D TilesOrthomosaic
A georeferenced, distortion-corrected aerial image mosaic you can measure directly from.
GeoTIFF, ECW, JPEG 2000Industries we serve with it
Energy (solar, wind, power lines)
In energy assets, a small fault can mean a big loss in output. We support the whole asset life cycle with spatial data — from site selection to post-commissioning thermal inspection.
Infrastructure and transport
Long linear assets take days to survey on foot. We map road, canal and utility corridors in a single pass and inspect hard-to-reach structures such as bridges and viaducts up close.
FAQs
What does a solar PV inspection pick up?
Thermal imagery reveals hotspots, faulty cells, and string and connection issues. Every finding is reported with its panel location.
Does the plant need to shut down?
For most inspections, no. Thermal inspections do require suitable irradiance and load conditions.
What’s in the report?
A findings list with photos, locations, severity ratings and recommended actions — also available as a GIS layer or asset register table.
